4 Part 3 2.D.4.a & 2.D.4.b
The SOW indicates 3 phases for each of the hangar buildings (AS4108 & AS3905) and furthermore requires the remaining 2/3 of the building that are not under the contractors possession will be occupied and remain in operation. What measures (i.e.
partition, plastic, etc.) are required to separate the hangar from an area under construction versus the adjacent that is still occupies and in operation?

4 Part 3 2.D.4.a & 2.D.4.b
The SOW indicates 3 phases for each of the hangar buildings (AS4108 & AS3905). Each Phase or Module includes a hangar area and an office area. Would the Gov consider separating the Office Area from the Hangar area? This would allow the contractors to perhaps move more efficiently through the entire building and may allow a more flexibility construction schedule.
Yes, the Government will consider separating the administrative areas from the hangar areas to allow for more efficient contractor scheduling, but each floor shall remain a three phase effort.
2 Bid Sheet General Requirement
The Time for Completion is identified at 915 days. Would the Gov consider a 1200 day Time for Completion? The request is based on the following:
Design: requires about 210 days from Notice of Award to Approved Design issued to Gov.
Phasing: requires Phase 1 to be complete before Phase 2 can start which is very inefficient for subcontractors with multiple mobilizations/Demobilizations.
Additionally there is a 30 day period between Phases.
Concurrent Schedule: based on the SOW and schedule the three buildings will need to be running concurrent.
All together the requirements likely will exceed the 915 day Time for Completion and therefore we recommend 1200 days.
Yes, proposed 1200 days is acceptable.
4 Part 3 2.D.4.a & 2.D.4.b
The SOW indicates 3 phases for each of the hangar buildings (AS4108 & AS3905). Would the Gov consider vacating the entire office area and allowing the contractor to take possession of the entire office area (i.e.

No, the Government requires phasing for the office area.
6 & 7 Part 3 3.B.3 & 3.B.4 Each of the Hangar Buildings (AS3905 & AS4108) require approximately 30,000sf of trailers for Tenants per hangar building. Is this enough office space for all occupants of each of the hangar or is this only enough office space for one phase of occupants at a time?
This is only intended for one phase of occupants at a time.
8 Part 3 3.B.4.d). Tenant trailer site location specified is the South-West end of AS4108, see map in Part 6 Attachment D1.
