1. We understand that the Marine hangers are going to be added to the PWS. Based on this addition, is it the intent of the government to extend when proposals are due? 3. Page 66/70. Annex: RFQ. Spec: Factor 2 – Experience. For Factor 2, Experience, the requirement states to provide a project with an annual value of at least JPY100,000,000. Due to the limited number of maintenance contracts of this value available in Japan, would the government be willing to accept a combination of contracts meeting this annual value, if all contracts are performed at the same time (overlapping) and by the same maintenance team?

ANSWER: Deferred.

4. Page 5. Annex: 100000. Spec: 1.7. This section states: "All facilities, systems, and assets identified in this contract shall be accepted by the Contractor in "AS-IS" condition".

Due to the size of this contract, it is impactable for bidders to inspect all inventory. As such, please provide a detailed list of deficiencies for all inventory, from the ongoing contract.

ANSWER: Deferred.

5. Based on the deficiencies provided, is the government willing to provide service orders and/or task orders to bring the inventory to normal operating conditions?

6. Page 17. Annex: 200000. Spec: 2.6.8.1. As per the description under this section and as described in J-0200000-09, the contractor is responsible for closing work orders and entering asset details and condition updates into MAXIMO.

Is it also the contractor's responsibility to create work orders using MAXIMO, such as recurring work orders for maintenance purposes? And if so, does this involve job plan entry into MAXIMO along with the linking of assets to the job plans?

ANSWER: Deferred.

7. Page 18. Annex: 200000. Spec: 2.6.8.2. This section states: "The Contractor shall ensure all information is updated by the end of each workday for all work performed."

For example, if work is being performed simultaneously at 4 different work sites on Camp Shields, will 1 competent person be sufficient to oversee those sites, or does each of the 4 work sites require a separate competent person?

ANSWER: Deferred.

9. Page 22. Annex 200000. Spec: 2.1.7.3. Is a competent person allowed to perform work as a technician while being the competent person at the work site?

ANSWER: Deferred.
