About this file
This document outlines the statement of work for Item 0102 under Contract N32205-21-R-4006 in support of maintenance and repairs aboard the USNS JOHN LENTHALL (T-AO 189). The statement of work requires the removal of degaussing cable and conduit from various ballast and cargo tanks aboard the vessel, including the cutting and removal of installed conduits and hangers. Plate inserts are to be installed at tank boundaries where cables previously penetrated. Deck-mounted junction boxes and supports are also to be removed. All new and disturbed surfaces must be blasted, primed and painted in accordance with specifications provided. Welding and non-destructive testing of inserts must pass inspections by ABS and naval representatives.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation for Mid-Term Availability maintenance aboard the USNS JOHN LENTHALL (T-AO 189) under Contract N3220520R4009 issued by the Department of the Navy's Military Sealift Command.
