DEPARTMENT OF THE NAVY
NAVAL AIR WARFARE CENTER, AIRCRAFT DIVISION
21936 Bundy Road Bldg 441 Patuxent River, Maryland 20670
IN REPLY REFER TO
23 June 2020
To all concerned offerors:
Reference is made to the FACSFAC Field Maintenance Support Sources Sought posted via BetaSam, which closed 04 June 2020 in support of the Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) Aircraft Division (AD) Webster Outlying Field (WOLF) Air Traffic Control & Landing Systems (ATC&LS) Division, Patuxent River, MD/St. Inigoes, MD.
NAVAIR received two (2) responses to the referenced Sources Sought and the following general analysis is provided for your information.
1 Large Business – Capable 1 Small Business – Capable
At this time, the Procuring Contracting Officer (PCO) has determined a set aside for Small Businesses is not appropriate. The PCO has determined that full and open competition is the most appropriate method to obtain adequate competition and the NAVAIR Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) and the Small Business Administration (SBA) Procurement Center Representative (PCR) concur. Please be advised that regardless of the Sources Sought results, no company is prohibited from responding to a NAVAIR Request for Proposal, as long as the company meets the size standard for the particular solicitation. Additionally, the above determination is subject to change based on government requirements, so we advise continuing to monitor www.Beta.Sam.gov for the actual request for proposal.
Any questions regarding the determination may be referred to the Contract Specialist Svetlana Dimitrova at 301-342-7207 or e-mail svetlana.dimitrova@navy.mil.
Very Respectfully, LUNDBURG.JE
