About this file
The provided file is an Industry Day Agenda for the Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) Southeast Alaska Acoustic Measurement Facility (SEAFAC) Barge Inspection event scheduled for 22 July 2025. The agenda details a comprehensive site visit at Knudson Cove Marina in Ketchikan, Alaska, with a structured timeline including check-in at 0830, government introductions and barge presentation at 0900, and inspections of IX527 and IX528 barges throughout the day.
The related federal contract opportunity (Solicitation N0016725R1001) is for Preservation, Inspection, Repair, and Maintenance (PIRM) support services for two static site barges in Alaska. NSWCCD plans to award an Indefinite Quantity/Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract, with the IX-527 barge included in the first task order. The agency is conducting market research to identify potential small and large business contractors capable of providing these support services, with a draft Statement of Work available for review until 1 April 2025. The contract involves towing barges to a contractor facility for comprehensive maintenance and overhaul.
