About this file
This amendment modifies a solicitation for the design, construction, testing, and program management of Force Protection Small and Large boats. The amendment answers bidder questions, clarifies that the required hull lengths are 27-28 feet for the Small and 36-38 feet for the Large. It updates Attachment 2 to reflect these hull length requirements. Offerors must check SAM.gov for any further amendments to this solicitation issued by the Naval Sea Systems Command for the Department of the Navy. The full requirements include Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection patrols from US Navy installations in various weather and water conditions throughout the year.
