Instructions
| P-3 electronic data alignment sheet | |||
| This spreadsheet is intended for use with a laser tracker system. | |||
| General instructions: | |||
| 1. Aircraft should be fully assembled with all structural components installed (small internal items, parachutes and CAD devices may be removed). | |||
| 2. Position aircraft inside hangar, levelled (with a plumb bob) sitting on 4 jacks as shown in 3-2 Section I Figures. | |||
| Close hangar doors if wind speed exceeds 10 knots or if aircraft movement exceedes 0.002" or if the sun shines on or near the aircraft. | |||
| 3. Allow aircraft to temperature stabilize for approximately 24 hours (depending on temp difference). | |||
| 4. Adjust propellors to 0 degrees pitch | |||
| 5. Rope off aircraft and not not allow personnel on aircraft. | |||
| 6. Establish aircraft coordinates using points 7, 1L, 1R and check squareness using point 8 or 14. | |||
| Aircraft coordinate system reference plane intersects point 7 and is 15.08" below points 1L and 1R. | |||
| 7. Establish references on the hangar floor to facilliatate moves of the tracker head. | |||
| 8. Shoot points on the aircraft. | |||
| 9. Copy data from the tracker software to the appropiate blocks in this spreadsheet. | |||
| Blocks 1-7 on "Fig 1-2 SH 5" sheet. | yellow blocks | ||
| Incidence and Dihedral Data Table on "Fig 1-2 SH 5" sheet. | Cells C39-C52 | ||
| Engine/prop data onto "Engine Data" sheet. | |||
| 10. Do not overwrite numbers (baselines) or zeros (formulas) | |||
| 11. Results will be auto calculated and will display | |||
| 12. Submit in accordance with contractural requirements, preferrably using this xls file, not as a pdf. | |||
| 13. "oops" on the right of the figures stands for "out of published specs". | |||
