About this file
This document is an appendix outlining Maryland's Green Purchasing Reporting Requirements for the Resolicitation – Dietary Services for Thomas B. Finan Center contract administered by the State of Maryland. The contractor selected for this dietary and food services contract must submit quarterly sales data throughout the contract term detailing information about recycled content, third-party sustainability certifications, and other environmental attributes of products and services provided. The reporting requirement is mandatory and must utilize a standardized Vendor Green Sales Report template provided by the state to ensure consistent documentation and compliance with state procurement regulations.
The reporting obligation derives from Article 14-405 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, State Finance & Procurement Article and COMAR 21.13.01.14, effective October 1, 2014, which mandates that Maryland state agencies report to the Department of General Services on their procurement of environmentally preferable products and services. By submitting a response to this solicitation, the offeror acknowledges commitment to submitting the quarterly Vendor Green Sales Report. Non-compliance with this reporting requirement may result in a cure notice from the Procurement Officer, and failure to submit the quarterly report may constitute material non-compliance with the contract.
