About this file

This is a Mandatory Scored Questions document for Jones County School System (JCSS) in Georgia, issued as part of Invitation to Bid #23-34 for the purchase and installation of fiber and network equipment at Jones County High School. Offerors must submit responses on company letterhead addressing all mandatory scored questions, with failure to answer resulting in proposal disqualification. The Pre-Bid Meeting is mandatory and was scheduled for January 10, 2023 at 10:00 AM Eastern Time via Zoom, led by Raymond Braziel. Bids were due by 3:00 PM local time on February 23, 2023, to be submitted to the Henry County Purchasing Department at 140 Henry Parkway, Room 209, McDonough, Georgia 30253. The contractor must furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and services required to complete the project. Bids could not be withdrawn for sixty days following the bid closing deadline, except as permitted by Georgia law.

The evaluation criteria are organized into three categories: Quality of Solution, Certifications and Capabilities, and Prior Experience. Under Quality of Solution, proposals must specify the brand and model of network equipment and fiber to be used, confirm availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday work if necessary, detail personnel allocation and anticipated project timeline, and identify a dedicated project manager. Certifications and Capabilities questions require documentation of Low Voltage certification, other relevant certifications held, and confirmation that assigned employees possess required certifications. Prior Experience questions address previous work with Jones County School System, similar projects completed, and experience with K-12 systems in Georgia. Proposals must not include any cost information in responses to this worksheet, as pricing will be evaluated separately in accordance with Section 6 of the proposal evaluation and award criteria.
