About this file
This document describes a federal solicitation for boiler replacement work at Timberline Lodge. The solicitation includes base items and optional phases to replace the existing boiler system over four phases from 2021 through 2023. Base work includes removing an abandoned generator; installing a 2,000 MBH hot water boiler, circulation pump, and new fuel oil pumps and piping; and running new main hot water piping and isolating valves. It also includes designing and integrating DDC control systems for the lodge and connecting snow melt systems. Optional phases add additional boiler and radiator replacements, control system expansions, and connecting other building systems to the new hot water system. The estimated total project value is over $10 million. The solicitation will be available on April 26, 2021 on SAM.gov. Responses are due on unspecified dates. The work must be coordinated to minimize lodge operation impacts.
