TFITS SI Consolidation Post Award Initiation Performance Work Statement i
Introduction Purpose and Scope.
Product Manager (PdM), Total Force IT Systems’ (TFITS) primary objective is to continue providing needed Marine Corps Information Technology (IT) systems in an environment of reducing budgets. One initiative is to reduce the number of System Integrators supporting programs within PdM TFITS portfolio of systems. The purpose of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to ensure the Consolidated Contract gets off on the right foot and will focus on topics such as:
· Ensure the TCSI has a solid understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in the Consolidated Contract.
· Ensure the TCSI has a solid understanding of the first Transition Task Orders prior to developing TO Request For Proposal (RFP) response.
· Provide Government visibility on TCSI progress to meet demand levels.
· Collaborate on risks and risk mitigation strategies
Figures 1 and 2 shows the planned consolidation timeline and phasing. As indicated, the first seven systems to transition to the TCSI will be TFRS, RFID, RTAMMS, SPS/WAWF/EDA/FPDS, JFRG II, MDSS II and TFSMS.
