About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) addendum for the NEXCOM West Coast Distribution Center Request for Proposals (RFP), issued on June 17, 2026. The file addresses four key inquiries from prospective offerors regarding lease terms, space requirements, and submission procedures.

The Government has clarified that the lease structure will remain firm at a one-year initial term followed by fourteen one-year renewal options; alternative structures such as three-year or three-to-five-year initial terms will not be accepted. The space requirement for the distribution center is 400,000 to 600,000 square feet for a modern facility, though the Q&A does not specify whether this is usable or rentable square footage. All proposals must be submitted by 12:00 noon EST on July 13, 2026, to tracy.a.chapman.civ@us.navy.mil with the subject line referencing Navy Contract Number N62470-26-RP-00006. Offerors are instructed to send a separate confirmation email to the same address to verify receipt due to file size limitations. This solicitation involves the Navy as the federal agency for a commercial real estate lease to support a West Coast distribution center operation.
