About this file

This document is an antiterrorism awareness pamphlet for contractors working at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst (JB MDL) in New Jersey. It provides an overview of the contractor's role in identifying and reporting suspicious activity that could indicate potential terrorist threats. The pamphlet defines terrorism, outlines what to look for (surveillance, elicitation, etc.), and provides instructions on what and how to report suspicious activity to the 87th Security Forces Squadron.

The related federal contract opportunity is a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the renovation of building 2621, a dormitory facility at JB MDL. The work includes demolition, construction, and renovation of 62 bedrooms and 24,530 square feet of living space. The renovation will involve relocating HVAC systems, refurbishing bathrooms and bedrooms, upgrading the fire alarm system, and addressing hazardous materials. The RFP notes that funds are not presently available, and the government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation.
