About this file

This is Addendum #3 to Solicitation ITB# FAC/260128 issued by the City of Ocala, Florida, dated November 20, 2025, addressing the 275-Ton Air-Cooled Chiller Replacement project at City Hall and the Customer Service Center. The solicitation requires a licensed mechanical contractor in Florida with a minimum of five years of experience to supply and install a new 275-ton air-cooled chiller system to replace an existing 247-ton unit. A mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on November 10, 2025, at City Hall in Ocala, and an optional site visit was scheduled for November 21, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Follow-up questions must be submitted through ProRFx no later than November 24, 2025, by 5:00 PM.

Addendum #3 clarifies three critical technical specifications through questions and answers. The City confirmed it is upgrading to a 275-ton chiller rather than performing a like-for-like replacement of the current 247-ton unit, and current pump ratings of 2.5 GPM per ton will be maintained with existing pumps. The addendum further specifies that bidders proposing alternate chiller manufacturers other than the existing York brand must upload detailed specifications for the proposed equipment in Section 3.5 of the bid submission for City review and approval.
