About this file

This is Addendum #2 to an Invitational Bid (ITB) issued by the City of Ocala, Florida for Stormwater TV, Cleaning & Lining Services (ITB# PWD/260199). The solicitation requests contractor services for stormwater infrastructure video inspections, cleaning operations, ground penetrating radar (GPR) services when needed, and grout sealing work across rights-of-way, roadways, easements, and other designated sites. A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting was held on June 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM at Public Works Administration in Ocala. The resulting contract will be awarded for an initial three-year term with two optional one-year renewal periods. All work must be coordinated through City Project Manager Brian Herrick at (352) 857-9353 or BHerrick@Ocalafl.org, and contractors must maintain a valid telephone number and address with voicemail availability during normal business hours.

This addendum clarifies key operational requirements for bidders. The City will provide a dump location (to be determined later) for nutrient box cleanouts, which will contain primarily sludge or liquid materials; however, vendors are responsible for disposing of baffle box contents consisting of branches, garbage, and similar debris at their own expense. Vendors should budget approximately one day of labor for cleaning each nutrient and baffle box location. Additionally, Exhibit C containing baffle and nutrient box information has been added to the bid documents. Any price increases during contract renewal are subject to City negotiation and limited to three percent annually unless mitigating market conditions exist, with vendors required to submit increase requests with CPI justification at least 90 days prior to term expiration.
