About this file

This document is the Question and Answer (Q&A) Part 1 for the Illinois Gaming Board (IGB) Central Communications System (CCS) Procurement Request for Proposal (RFP) B45047. The RFP seeks a vendor to provide a centralized communication system to connect video gaming terminals, site controllers, and other related technology components for the Illinois video gaming industry. The transition phase will pay the incoming vendor the same percentage of Net Terminal Income (NTI) as the incumbent vendor for the first 24 months, after which the incoming vendor's proposed rate will take effect starting in contract year 3. The transition plan must be approved by the IGB prior to commencement.

The RFP specifies that performance criteria are provided in the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in Attachment D. Payment to the incoming vendor during the transition phase will be at the incumbent vendor's current rate of 0.902% of NTI, and the IGB guarantees this rate will not decrease. If the transition is completed before 24 months, the incoming vendor's proposed rate from contract year 3 will apply.
