About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for a federal solicitation (HT940626QE002) concerning commercial shredding services for two military locations: Robins Air Force Base and Naval Hospital Beaufort. The solicitation is a contract renewal with Coast2Coast Shredding LLC as the previous incumbent. The current contract values are $36,350.00 for Robins AFB and $79,560.00 for Naval Hospital Beaufort, with previous contract periods from September 2020 to August 2024 and February 2021 to February 2026, respectively.
Key details include specific access requirements for both locations, with contractors needing DBIDS cards and proper credentials. At Robins AFB, the government provides collection bins, and contractors will need to enter through a commercial gate with 24-hour advance notification. For Naval Hospital Beaufort, the medical treatment facility (MTF) will rent collection bins, and the monthly cost should include both service and bin rental. Contractors will require a 5512 document for Naval Hospital access, valid for 6 months, and must have certificates for MCAS Beaufort and MCRD Parris Island.
