HSCG85‐17‐R‐P45213
Question and Response Matrix 2
4 Specification 33
Paragraph 3.3 calls for the Contractor to renew existing piping, pipe fittings, pipe unions, and pipe hangers, using 400‐WAGB‐ 4808‐14 as guidance. The scope of work item spells out for the Contractor to renew the STARBOARD SEWAGE TRANSFER PIPING from the capped flange in the overhead of CPO state room 1‐180‐ 0‐L to the overboard discharge. Drawing 400‐4808‐14 does not show state room 1‐180‐0‐L. The drawing stops at deck level 2.
The piping shown on this drawing is CUNI tubing not sewage transfer piping. Does the Government mean the overboard discharge in the sewage treatment room comp 3‐143‐6‐Q, or the shore tie connection on the main deck? Will the government provide the actual sewage transfer piping system drawing of the complete system
The correct drawing is 400‐WAGB‐4808‐ 3 Rev AE. This correction will be made to the specification in a future amendment to the solicitation and the drawing will be provided.
5 Specification 40 Paragraph 3.4 calls for the Contractor to replace pump parts. The OEM is Pecofacet for the OWS and is being non responsive on supplying pricing for these parts to the contractor.
The Coast Guard does not require OEM parts for the overhaul of the referenced pumps.
