1/12/2016 DeCA CARTS R/M Question:
The RFP instructions include the requirement for including a compliance cross reference matrix in the Management and Technical Volumes. This material is exempt from the page counts. However, we believe it would be better to provide the matrix in an Excel workbook to make is easier to use and maintain. We would like to merely embed a link to the compliance workbook in the Technical and Management volumes instead of replicating the entire content of the workbook in the volumes. Will such an approach be acceptable to DeCA?
Answer:
DeCA does not object to the vendor embedding the compliance document as a spreadsheet, however, it must be formatted (print area defined) to print all columns across a single sheet with an easily read 10pt or larger font on standard letter size paper (8.5"x11") in either portrait or landscape mode.
