Steel Pipe Diagram.PPT
Price Template: CLINs 0001, 0003, 0004, 0005, 0007, 0008
Base Year & All Option Years & 6 Month Extension Tab
The Diagram, the Pricing Template & The Steel Pipe Diagram indicates nodal connectivity for a qty of 2x OC48 Unprotected East and West (E & W) between each of the following:
1) CMAFS Node 1 (3301) & Schriever AFB (Bldg 700)
2) Schriever AFB (Bldg 700) & Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040)
3) Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040) & CMAFS Node 2 (3101) But the Pricing Template indicates 2x OC48 (4 Ports) between the following:
1) CMAFS Node 1 (3301) & Schriever AFB (Bldg 700)
2) Schriever AFB (Bldg 700) & Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040)
3) Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040) & CMAFS Node 1 (3301)
4) CMAFS Node 2 (3101) & Schriever AFB (Bldg 700) Which builds the following:
1. A “triangular” ring comprising of the following links:
a. CMAFS (Node 1)<>SAFB<>PAFB<>CMAFS (Node 1)
Continued below…
Yes, this interpretation of the “square” four nodal rings is correct. The corrected template attached does more accurately reflect the requirement of the PWS.
The Government will provide the fiber necessary to connect the two CMAFS nodes so that circuits may be provisioned between any two nodes on the ring. CLINs (0004 and 0008) are added between the two CMAFS nodes. Mileage does not apply, but the ports/equipment lease does.
2. And a “stick” ring comprising of only the following:
a. CMAFS (Node 2)<>SAFB
Does the Government really prefer this to be a “square” nodal ring comprising of all four (4) nodes as follows?:
CMAFS Node 1 (Rm 3301)<>SAFB(Bldg 700)<>PAFB(Bldg 1040)<>CMAFS Node 2 (Rm 3101)<>CMAFS Node 1 (Rm 3301)…see diagram below:
With only 2x OC48 Unprotected East and West (E & W) between each of the following three node pairs:
1) CMAFS Node 1 (3301) & Schriever AFB (Bldg 700)
2) Schriever AFB (Bldg 700) & Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040)
3) Peterson AFB (Bldg 1040) & CMAFS Node 2 (3101)
If so, shouldn’t, then, the Pricing Template be corrected to match the following (attached) modified Pricing Template?:
The Price template has been updated.
