The primary objective of the Radios-as-a-Service pilot is to experiment with using an as-a-Service model to provide and maintain inherently military capabilities, starting with tactical radios. This pilot will evaluate the feasibility of engaging suppliers to deploy radio capabilities through an outcome-driven subscription model. By testing this model, the pilot aims to determine whether RaaS can provide a more agile, cost-effective, and scalable method for the Army to maintain cutting-edge communication tools. PoP 12 months (initial pilot effort)
