About this file

This is a Business Enterprise Good Faith Efforts Form B from the City of St. Petersburg, Florida, required for prime contractors who have not used any Business Enterprise subcontractors or have not met required Business Enterprise participation goals. The form applies to the Flow Monitor Maintenance Program contract, which involves providing parts, maintenance, repairs, and services for thirty city-owned Triton+ flow monitors and twenty rain gauges. The selected vendor will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and reporting data from all devices in PDF or Excel Spreadsheet format, with the City identifying and providing the high-inflow locations that require monitoring.

To demonstrate Good Faith Efforts, prime contractors must document their outreach activities, including conducting at least one monthly outreach event, documenting all solicited Business Enterprise responses and quotes received, maintaining a list of contacted but unavailable Business Enterprises with supporting documentation, attending Office of Supplier Development outreach and networking events, and effectively utilizing available SBE recruitment services including the Office of Supplier Development (727-892-5351 or OSD@stpete.org). Contractors who have exhausted all efforts to secure Business Enterprise participation but remain unsuccessful must provide detailed written explanations supported by comprehensive documentation of all actions taken to meet participation requirements. Any material misrepresentation in the form submission may result in federal or state action under false statements statutes.
