CE Facility Maintenance and Repair Support Site Visit
• Welcome
– Solicitation FA8601-17-R-0025 “CIVIL ENGINEER FACILITY SUPPORT TO INTELLIGENCE AND RESEARCH
AND DEVELOPMENT ACTIVITIES”
• Grounds Rules:
– Government representatives may not clarify, make, or infer legal interpretations on the scope or intent of the solicitation.

– Government representatives may not discuss or comment on price/cost at any time
– Government representatives may not enter into contractual agreements with prospective contractors or their agents.
– Government representatives may not offer any advice or recommendations to prospective contractors.
– Government representatives may not give contractors or their agents the name or telephone number of the Project Manager.
– No recording devices, including video tapes, are authorized for use during the pre-proposal conference
(site visit).

• Wright Patterson AFB
– Very large AFB with historical significance and home to multiple organizations such as AFMC, AFLCMC, 88 ABW, AFRL, AFIT, NASIC, NMUSAF, 445 AW and others.
– The main Base is divided in two areas; Area A & Area B
– The Base has approximately 7.5K military, 12.5K civilians and 7.5K contractors or 27.5K personnel providing services to over 100 different mission partners.
– When on Base always follow directions of Base Security Forces
• CE Facility and Equipment Support
– Most of the contract’s work is located in Area B but there is several facilities located in Area A
– Organizations currently scheduled to be included in the contract are AFIT, LRS, 711th Human Performance Wing, NASIC, AFPT, multiple Directorates of AFRL, and NAMRU
– The Performance Work Statement defines the work required for these customers in detail with the main emphasis to provide maintenance, repair and replacement activities to the equipment found on the contract’s equipment list
– Approximately 4,500 equipment items listed
– Approximately 100 facilities maintained for the 8 labs across Areas A & B
