About this file
This is a Client Authorization Letter template for offerors responding to RFP FA8552-26-R-B001 for the HH-60W Degraded Visual Environment System (DVES) procurement. The letter serves as a mechanism for the Air Force Past Performance Team to validate offerors' present and past performance on relevant commercial contracts by contacting the offeror's clients directly. Offerors are responsible for distributing this authorization letter to their identified points of contact (POCs) for relevant commercial work, along with an attached questionnaire, and including completed responses in their past performance volume. If offerors propose critical subcontractors or joint venture members, they must obtain similar authorization letters from those entities and facilitate their distribution to respective POCs as well.
The letter authorizes clients to complete a performance questionnaire and submit responses electronically or by mail. Electronic submissions must be encrypted with "Source Selection Information" in the subject line and directed to the Air Force contracting officers: Millie Danko, Theresa Younce, and Jason Grizzard. The letter also permits verbal discussion of questionnaire responses during Government telephone contact. Offerors must identify specific POCs within client organizations based on their knowledge of the work performed, and include offeror contact information for questions. This attachment is classified as Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and is dated 18 June 2026.

RFP FA8552-26-R-B001
ATTACHMENT 8
Client Authorization Letter
NOTE TO OFFERORS: This procurement could be similar to commercial supplies/services. Therefore, to assist the Government’s Past Performance Team in assessing your present and past performance on relevant commercial contracts, the following letter must be sent to your points of contact (POCs) for those commercial efforts that you identify to us in your past performance volume. Should you propose to use critical subcontractors and/or joint venture members, you must obtain a similar client authorization letter from each entity. HOWEVER, it is your sole responsibility, as the offeror, to then send out these authorization letters with the Present/Past Performance Questionnaire to your own POCs and to those of your critical subcontractors and/or joint venture members and include a copy in your past performance volume.
