Subfactor A: Component Structural Analysis Plan
PWS 1.4.2.2, 1.4.2.3 Para. II, C.3.1 Para. II, C.2.1 A002 A003
1. Describe the hardware analysis techniques that will be used for reverse engineering to develop the technical data required to reproduce the required components. Define the process for establishing dimensional tolerances.
(a) Ability to fabricate, control and inspect bonded metallic composite structure (e.g. bonded honeycomb structure etc.) and bonded non-metallic composite structure (e.g. epoxy resin composite laminate, honeycomb sandwich construction, etc.).
(b) Ability to control stringent manufacturing tolerances including hole diameter, hole location, surface finish, surface profile, etc., especially at critical interfaces.
(c) Ability to manufacture, inspect and test high-strength fatigue critical parts and assemblies.
