Steel bollards and columns shall use Loctite Extend as a rust neutralizer. This may be applied via brush or spray and may act as a primer.
Steel bollards on the north loading dock shall be painted safety yellow.
When painting stairs the front 4 inches of the tread or subsequent width of nose tread shall be painted safety yellow.
Apply Loctite Bigfoot with ¼ inch nap roller to create higher profiling.
Edges of concrete that are vertically misaligned greater than 3/8 of an inch that present a trip hazard shall be ground down to alignment. An example of this is at the top of the 503 west side handicap ramp.
Exterior concrete stairs: remove nose tread, remove degraded substrate down to solid material, prep surface per technical datasheet, form and repair with Loctite Magna-Crete, and install new nose tread utilizing Loctite Crack Filler SL as a sealant underneath it and its fasteners.
Caulking application technique shall ensure proper preparation, utilization of backer rod and utilization of interior diameter raised edges to target water away from embeds, columns etc.
Drawing C101A will be updated to reflect motorcycle parking moved to the southwest corner of the lot as compared to the southeast corner. Five new parking curbs will be added to the northeast corner to protect the fence that is being repaired as part of this project.
Per C103 note 25 the project requires leak repair on the entryway awning on the west side of 503A. A known leak is present at the gutter/drainpipe junction at EFIS interface. Contractor will have to find other leak sources and repair.
