About this file
This memorandum is a Pre-Bid Request for Information (RFI) response for Project WWYK180061, a repair of the HVAC system at Building 3707 on Tinker Air Force Base. The document addresses three specific contractor inquiries: confirmation of the facility's fire sprinkler system coverage (fully sprinklered), clarification on the timeline for Price Proposal submission (to be included in the Letter to Acceptable Offerors), and requirements for screen walls around roof-mounted equipment (all roof equipment must be behind screen walls).
The document provides contact information for key project personnel, including Glen A. Kay (Project Manager), Adam Gibson (Construction Inspector), Joshua Wheeler (CSAG Program Manager), and Billy Deal (Contracting Officer Representative). The project is part of an 8(a) competitive two-step solicitation specifically targeting construction contractors with NAICS 236220 located in Oklahoma, with an initial site visit scheduled for 24 April 2025 and a placeholder proposal due date of 02 June 2025. The solicitation is being managed by the Department of the Air Force Materiel Command Air Force Sustainment Center.
