About this file
This solicitation is for repair work at Tank Farms 3 and 4 at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The Air Force is seeking a contractor to demolish the existing 1950s-era bulk storage underground storage tanks and aviation fuel infrastructure at Tank Farms 3 and 4. The contractor will reconstruct a consolidated fuel storage and distribution system at Tank Farm 4, including installing six new 50,000-gallon double-wall underground storage tanks for JP-8 fuel and one 25,000-gallon double-wall underground storage tank for ultra-low sulfur diesel. Additional requirements include constructing a new filter building, control room, motor control center, truck loading and offloading area, return to bulk station, and a new retail fuel station. The estimated price range for the contract is between $10-25 million. Questions regarding the specifications are due by June 1, 2023, with site visits scheduled for May 24, 2023. Payment and performance bonds will be required.
