About this file
This is a Combined Synopsis/Request for Quote (RFQ) from Mountain Home Air Force Base for a camera surveillance system. The government intends to award a firm fixed-price contract for a comprehensive camera installation project, with a performance period of 90 days after award. The procurement includes 6 Network Video Recorders, 24 Uninterrupted Power Supplies, 18 Network Switches, 6 System Workstations, 31 Outside Cameras, 237 Inside Cameras, associated camera software, 163 Ceiling Mounts, 105 Wall Mounts, and labor for installation and training. The solicitation (FA489725QC067) is set aside for small businesses, with quotes due by 10 September 2025 at 10:00 AM MST. Evaluation will use a trade-off methodology prioritizing technical capability and price over past performance, with a potential award to the offeror representing the best overall value to the government.
Potential vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), attend a mandatory site visit on 12 August 2025 at 1:00 PM MST, and submit technical capability documentation demonstrating compliance with specifications. Quotes will be evaluated on three primary factors: technical capability (with ratings of "Technically Superior" or "Technically Compliant"), total evaluated price, and past performance. Vendors must provide detailed camera specifications and may submit past performance data. The contract will be awarded to the most advantageous offer, which may not necessarily be the lowest-priced quote, with the government reserving the right to select based on technical superiority.
