SUMMARY OF CHANGES

SECTION L - INSTRUCTIONS, CONDITIONS AND NOTICES TO BIDDERS

The following have been modified:

52.236-27 SITE VISIT (CONSTRUCTION) (FEB 1995) – ALTERNATE I (FEB 1995)

(a) The clauses at 52.236-2, Differing Site Conditions, and 52.236-3, Site Investigations and Conditions Affecting the Work, will be included in any contract awarded as a result of this solicitation. Accordingly, bidders are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.

(b) An organized site visit has been scheduled for:

3 July, 2012; 10:00 AM (local time)

(c) Participants will meet at:

366 Contracting Squadron

366 Gunfighter Ave, Suite 498

Mountain Home AFB ID 83648-5258

(d) If individuals do not have a Mountain Home AFB pass an escort will be required. Ensure you have a current driver’s license, vehicle registration and proof of vehicle insurance. Vehicles with company logos will not be allowed to enter the Main Gate. Submit the names of all attendees (not to exceed five) to Cindy Dixon (cindy.dixon@mountainhome.af.mil) prior to 2 July 2012. This information must be provided in advance in order to ensure access to the military base/conference site and adequate seating for the conference attendees. Arrive at the Main Gate at least ½ hour early in order to process applicable paperwork. Individuals will be required to follow the escort from the Main Gate, Visitor’s Center to Building 512. If you have any questions contact Cindy Dixon at 828-3116.

(e) Bidders are requested to submit questions in writing to the point of contact noted above not later than 6 July 2012. Information provided at this conference shall not qualify the terms and conditions of the solicitation and specifications. Terms of the solicitation and specifications remain unchanged unless the solicitation is amended in writing. If an amendment is issued, normal procedures relating to the acknowledgment and receipt of solicitation amendments shall apply.

(f) A record of the conference will be made and furnished to all prospective bidders via the Federal Business Opportunities website. The record may include minutes of the meeting, including questions (on a non-attribution basis) and answers.
