2. I opened the site visit by welcoming everyone, making introductions of key personnel and describing the purpose/highlights of the solicitation. After providing remarks covering items in block 10 of the SF 1442 and identifying this solicitation as a sealed bid with instructions the floor was given to Mr. David Silvey who described operations at the 325th Civil Engineering Squadron pertinent to this solicitation and the contractor’s role in under the forthcoming contract. The floor was then turned over to the Airfield Manager, TSgt Coaxum, who explained the operational guidance specific to Tyndall AFB. The floor was then opened to questions of which we received two (included in the Q&A –Site Visit memorandum posted on FBO). The meeting adjourned at 08:37 AM and we then conducted a guided tour of the airfield, available lay down yard and potential batching plant. Included in the tour were the 6000 area (Lay Down Yard), Taxiway C & F, Runway 14R/32L, and the apron between Hangar 3 & 4.

The tour ended at 09:27 AM. We opened the meeting up to an additional round of questions; two additional questions were provided. All questions were answered and annotated to provide with the first amendment to the solicitation.

3. Following the final tour we reconvened for a brief conversation in order to ensure that all contractors were on the same page. I reminded all contractors that proposals were due to the CONS office via means identified in the solicitation, no later than 1:00 PM CST on Thursday, 16 July 2015. There were no additional questions or areas of concern that needed to be addressed. The site visit ended at approximately 09:40 AM CST.
