About this file
The "Site Visit Questions" document is a detailed record of technical inquiries and preliminary findings for a CCTV installation project at an Air Force base. The document reveals key infrastructure considerations, including conduit capacity for cable installations, power supply challenges for parking lot light poles, and existing Network Video Recorder (NVR) port availability across multiple buildings. Specific findings include available NVR ports for buildings 335-587, with port availability ranging from 3-12 ports per location, and confirmation of a full 5-year warranty with service and labor included.
The site visit questions address critical technical implementation details such as power connectivity, camera placement, and system expansion capabilities. Notable technical discussions include the current status of parking lot lighting (photocell-controlled with inconsistent power), potential solutions for cable conduit constraints, and the need to verify existing NVR system compatibility for additional camera installations. The document suggests the contractor will need to resolve power supply issues and ensure adequate infrastructure for the proposed CCTV system expansion across multiple buildings.
