About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for solicitation FA468625Q0006 containing three Q&A sets dated January 30, February 3, and February 10, 2025. The Q&As clarify that this is a brand-new requirement with no incumbent contractor, and address the limitations on subcontracting clause FAR 52.219-14(c)(e)(1).
The document provides clarifications about asbestos reports (referenced in Attachment 6), floor plans (Attachment 5), base access procedures requiring EAL submission, and carpet specifications. Key technical details include confirmation that government-approved sources must be used for carpet procurement, with specific Tier 1 contractors, carpet style, and color requirements outlined in PWS paragraph 2.1.1.1. The Law office will be closed during carpet replacement and asbestos abatement work.
