QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS (Q&A) dated 11 February 2025
Carpet, Asbestos, Furniture Move
SOLICITATION NO. FA468625Q0006
Question 1: I would like to clarify whether it would be acceptable to move furniture to one side of the building, complete the carpet removal and installation on that section, and then move the furniture back while completing the second half. This phased approach would eliminate the need for external storage while ensuring continued progress on the project.
Can you confirm whether this method is permissible, or is full removal and off-site storage required before any work begins?
Answer 1: Yes, this method is permissible.
