RFQ Summary
This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) issued by the 7th Contracting Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base for KVA transformers. The solicitation (FA466126Q0111) was issued on 16 September 2026 with a quote deadline of 24 September 2026 at 8:00 a.m. CDT. The requirement is set aside exclusively for small businesses under NAICS code 335311 (Power, Distribution, and Specialty Transformer Manufacturing) with an 800-employee size standard.
The procurement requires three line items totaling 10 transformer units: one 300 KVA 3-phase ABB transformer, four 150 KVA 3-phase transformers, and five 100 KVA 1-phase ABB transformers, all per attached salient characteristics. Award will be based on a best-value trade-off analysis considering technical acceptability, delivery time, and price, with the contracting officer indicating that faster delivery schedules may justify higher pricing. The contract will be firm-fixed-price with FOB Destination terms and default payment terms of NET 30. Offerors must submit signed quotes via email to Jeury.virgen_carrillo@us.af.mil and trevor.finch.1@us.af.mil, including a specification sheet matching brand name characteristics and a proposed delivery date. All quotes must specify a period of performance in days after date of contract (ADC), which is negotiable. The Government reserves the right to cancel the solicitation, and funds are contingent upon availability of appropriated funding. Two amendments were issued updating line item descriptions and adding questions and answers.
