About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation FA466126Q0011 B8030 Deep Clean, issued by an Air Force base. The document clarifies scope, schedule, facility conditions, and performance requirements for a one-time deep cleaning and remediation service at Building 8030. There is no incumbent contractor, and this is a new requirement with no historical contract data or previous award amounts. Pricing has not been confirmed as the acquisition remains in solicitation.

The scope encompasses cleaning and sanitization of approximately 1,379 square feet across multiple areas including hallways (219.19 and 115.88 sq ft), IT/server rooms (189 and 319.67 sq ft), office and storage spaces (116, 117.21, and 362.5 sq ft), kitchenette (119 sq ft), and stairwell (129.06 sq ft). Work includes HEPA vacuuming, deep cleaning, and sanitization of carpeted areas with 100% stain removal required without carpet damage. Walls must be cleaned of visible stains and marks while preserving wallpaper. The contractor must move furniture as necessary, clean and sanitize HVAC vent covers and exterior ductwork, and remove/dispose of animal remains with patching of holes before completion. The facility contains racoon contamination with bedding and excrement throughout shaded ceiling areas; contractor must set loose floor tiles aside for government inspection and approval before disposal. Server racks require exterior cleaning and interior dusting with canned air; phone lines must not be touched. Drywall repair is to be patched ready-for-paint with the government performing final painting. The kitchenette sink is the only on-site water/sewer access; nothing may clog the drain. All contaminated debris and carcasses must be disposed of off-base. SMSgt Corenna DeJesus (Command Post Superintendent) or delegate approves disposal of items unable to be cleaned, with evaluation occurring maximum once weekly at a central location; contact 325-696-1921. Hydroxyl air treatment must operate continuously until odor elimination is confirmed by the government, with 24-48 hours expected for mild smells. The 100% supervised IT rooms must be completed between 0800-1600 hours only; after-hours work is prohibited for these spaces. Other areas may be cleaned on weekends if coordinated through base access. The facility POC will be identified at time of work; questions should go to the Contracting Officer and Contracting Specialist identified in the solicitation. There are four handrails on walls that are unsecured; approximately 290 ceiling tiles are estimated for potential installation. Previously submitted quotations remain valid if found technically acceptable; no resubmission is required. The questions deadline is February 9, 2026 at 2:00 PM Central Time.
