RFIs Whiteman AFB Steam Heat Plant

26 April 2017

1 ) Can contractor owned computers located on base access Servers off base?

Example : Contractor Laptop accessing company VPN and utilizing software for time reporting.

Contractors can use their own computers on base however, they CANNOT access, interface, or connect to any base systems or equipment to include but not limited to: computers, ports, wiring. Which means if they use their computers on base to access off base servers it would have to be some type of wireless network.

2) Will contractors be responsible for Humidity Control.

The only PWS reference to humidity control is in para 12.5.3 Material Storage and Use. Steam is used for humidity control in many facilities but the contractor’s only responsibility is supplying steam as dictated in the PWS.
