Following the government answers to the contractors questions, question/answer #4, we find out that to fulfill the “extra hazard 0.3 gpm/2500 sq ft with 500 gpm hose allowance”, (project request, dwg FX-

101), there is not enough water to supply the system. Per NFPA and the

DOD would need a pump and water storage tank ( 158.934 gal for 120 minutes).Please see attached calculation for the storage area extra hazard

0.3/2500 with a 500 gpm hose allowance. Please clarify

Building T-169 is supplied by a pressurized closed water loop. The pressure to this loop is provided by Pumphouse T-120 that can be configured to supply the required pressure and flow if necessary (Max. flow 1500+ GPM Approx. @ 60

PSI). Contractor shall not provide water pumps or tanks in this project's scope.

Any additional water demand will be resolved outside of this project's scope.
