FA303020QA035 Vendor Questions and Answers
Q: Please provide the Auto CAD drawing.
A: We do not have Auto CAD drawings available, but have provided additional visual aids that contain power/electrical plans for the instructor offices and dimensions for each room that is part of the requirement.
Q: Would you be able to provide any more information on the size and layout of the cubicles and desks required for RFQ FA303020QA035? 40” by 32” seems small, especially with drawers.
A: We have revised the statement of work to list a range of dimensions to allow contractors more latitude in their proposals. The dimensions for the instructor desks for use in the classroom has been revised to 40”‐48” by 32”‐36” from the original 40”‐32”.
Q: Do you have a layout for the Cubicles for the offices? Need to know size, power requirements, panel height etc
A: Per the statement of work, cubicle panel walls will be no higher than 3 feet, each cubicle will have a work area in a range of 24”‐36”wide X 60”‐72” long with at least one set of three drawers.
Contractors have the latitude to propose the cubicle layout as part of their offer depending on the number of cubicles needed per room, as indicated in the SOW. Please see attachments with pictures of each instructor office, examples of power hook ups, and description of power capabilities of each instructor office to assist in your design.
Q: What size are the Desks?
A: Per the statement of work, the instructor desks will now measure a range of 40”‐48” by 32”‐36”.
Q: What size are the folding tables? Do they have to fold?
A: Per the statement of work, the tables will measure 18” X 60” with light grey table tops and black, foldable legs.
Q: Are the student chairs (375) upholstered or plastic?
A: Student chairs will be upholstered
Q: Can we submit partial bids?
A: Partial Bids will not be accepted, one award will be made for this requirement.
Q: Can you provide a list of what is to be removed and disposed of?
A: Statement of work paragraphs 11 (c) and 11(d) have been revised to reflect furniture that needs to be disposed
Q: Are we to use GSA contracts or best offer?
A: This is an open market requirement and vendors are encouraged to provide their best pricing with their quotation
Q: Regarding this requisition, are there floorplans we can access for the project? We need to specify but don’t see floorplans available.
The building floorplan is included as an attachment with the solicitation, instructor offices and classrooms are highlighted. We have also have provided additional visual aids that contain power/electrical plans for the instructor offices and dimensions for each room that is part of the requirement.
