Information from the site visit on 28 may 08.

Interested parties were informed that the last three attachments to the solicitation listed as informational are just that. These are provided for information only for the Air Force’s planned approach as regionalization continues to take shape.

Contractors should prepare their quotes for the work outlined in the PWS. If and when work is moved to a centralized location, the government will conduct negotiations with the contractor for contract reductions.

All questions are to be submitted to the government no later than 14 June 2008.

Mr. Nelson informed contractors that they need to be ready to hit the ground running with the Thin Client. The current Thin Client capacity is 400, but is expected to grow to 1400.

Mr. Nelson informed the contractors that the age of the servers were new.

Mr. Nelson stated that the contract is a performance based contract with both SDS and non-SDS in the PWS.
