About this file
This file is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) document for federal contract opportunity MAHG261006, titled "Extend Perimeter Fence at Division St. Gate."
The Q&A addresses contractor inquiries regarding fence specifications for the perimeter fence extension project. The solicitation requires two different fence heights: 8 feet where the fence connects to existing perimeter fencing and remains 8 feet until crossing the road and running along the parking lot, at which point the fence height increases to 10 feet. The gate is specified to match the 8-foot fencing height. The document clarification confirms that the fence is indeed two different sizes rather than a uniform height throughout the project. The contract identifier is FA301026Q0032.

MAHG261006 Extend Perimeter Fence at Division St. Gate - Additional Q&As
1. We asked about the gate size as well as whether the fencing is supposed to be 2 different sizes.
The north side shows 8' and the south side shows 10', divided by the gate. The answer to our question was the gate is to match the 8' fencing. I assume that this means the fencing is supposed to be 2 different sizes, but I still wanted to ask for clarification if possible.
A: The fence will be two different sizes. It will be 8’ where it connects to the existing perimeter fencing and remain 8’ until it crosses the road and runs along the parking lot. Once it runs along the parking lot, the fence will be 10’ high. If there is any more information required, please let me know.
