About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for the federal contract solicitation MAHG261006 "Extend Perimeter Fence at Division St. Gate" (Solicitation Number FA301026Q0032).
The project requires extension of perimeter fencing to match existing Ameristar fencing design, with gates matching the 8-foot high fencing specification. Key requirements include: installation of fence rails capable of accommodating steel and/or sensor cables (though no cabling will be installed); contractor responsibility for all fill, grading, and positive drainage; protection of existing storm drain infrastructure with potential fence realignment; sodding of all disturbed areas; and obtaining a dig permit. The contractor must provide a complete and useable system and is responsible for site traffic coordination with Security Forces (SFS) on commercial gate access plans. No asbestos or lead is anticipated on the project. No anti-ram cable rating applies to the fencing or gates. Site work begins 10 days after award, contingent upon submittal approval. Third-party inspections are governed by SOW Section 12.1. No additional drawings beyond Attachment 2 will be provided. Parking spaces adjacent to the project may be closed only during active work phases, not for the full project duration. Existing palm trees within project limits are not approved for removal.
