Generator Scope Details Rev. 1 MAHG 231035 Repair Well #10

1. SCOPE: Provide Generator, ATS, & Diesel Fuel Tank for Bldg 7301.
Notes:
A. Contractor shall provide and maintain filters, temporary dust barriers, etc. to prevent construction dust and debris from spreading throughout Bldg 7301, adjacent areas, Fire System Devices, and IT equipment, and other spaces.
B. Contractor shall provide constant daily cleaning of the work area.
C. Contractor is responsible for the repair/replacement of items damaged during construction at their own cost.
1.1 CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE & INSTALL:
Bldg 7301surrounding area
A. Install ATS outside Bldg 7301
B. Wire Generator to ATS and from existing electrical source, at Bldg 7301.
C. Wire ATS to existing electrical system.
D. Plumb Diesel Tank to generator.
E. Test run generator following manufacturer’s instructions, with manufacturer’s representative as a witness.
Mechanical / Electrical Demolition work shall be accomplished per drawings and specifications given in the SOW.
1.2 CONTRACTOR TO MODIFY EXISTING:
Mechanical / Electrical work to modify existing building components.

1.2.1 CONTRACTOR TO PROVIDE AND INSTALL NEW:
Building 7301 –
A. Generator
B. ATS, outside bldg. 7301.
C. Diesel tank immediately north of the generator

4.1 SPECIAL GENERATOR CONSIDERATIONS
4.1.1 150 KW STANDY; 480 VAC WYE OUTPUT, 60 HERTZ, DIESEL FUEL WITH
DAY TANK AND 500 GALLON MAIN TANK PLUMBED TO DAY TANK.
4.1.2 TWO OF EACH OF THE FOLLOWING SUB EQUIPMENT: FUEL PUMPS
WITH DIFFERENT INJECTION LOCATIONS; EACH PUMP WITH ITS OWN
FUEL LINE; OIL SENSORS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; SPARK PLUGS AT
SEPARATE LOCATIONS; FUEL GAUGES AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS;
FUEL PRESSURE INDICATION AT SEPARATE BUT NEAR EQUAL
LOCATIONS; FUEL FILTERS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS IN PARALLEL
FUEL LINES; FUEL VALVES FOR ALL FUEL LINES IN PARALLEL; OIL
LEVEL SENSORS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; ENGINE BLOCK HEATERS
AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; BLOWBY STACKS AT SEPARATE
LOCATIONS; VOLTAGE REGULATORS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS
AUTOMATICALLY SWITCHED BETWEEN EACH OTHER AS NEEDED;
AIR FILTERS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; ANTI CONDENSATION
HEATERS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; VIBRATION MEASUREMENT
NEAR BEARINGS AT SEPARATE LOCATIONS; DIODES CONDITION
REPORTING; GENERATOR WINDINGS REPORTING FROM TWO
SEPARATE LOCATONS INCLUDING CURRENT, RESISTANCE, AND
VOLTAGE. SENSORS FOR ALL OF THE ABOVE TO REPORT TO TWO
SEPARATE CONTROLLERS.
4.1.3 AUTOMATIC TRANSFER SWITCH (ATS) 480 VAC WYE MOUNTED
OUTSIDE; NEMA 3R; WIRED FOR POWER TRANSFER
4.1.4 500 GALLON DIESEL TANK NEXT TO DAY TANK WITH PLUMBING TO
DAY TANK.
