MAHG231035 Repair Well #10 Pre-Bid Questions and Answers

1. Are both Phase 1 and Phase 2 being awarded?
Both Phase 1 and Phase 2 will be awarded under one contract and one Period of Performance (PoP) if the project is funded.
2. Generator Scope Detail 1.1 A calls to remove and install the ATS inside Bldg 7310 and
1.2.1 B Calls to provide and install new ATS outside of the building is this correct?
The ATS is located outside the building 7301.
Remove existing ATS and install new ATS in same location outside.
Please see the Addendum #1.
3. The Generator Scope Detail 4.1.1 calls out a 1350 Gallon Main Tank are there any other requirements for the tank other than the size
Contractor to verify existing 500-gallon tank is sufficient to supply new generator with diesel to run for approximately 72 hours. If re-using tank, provide any hardware, plumbing, or pumps for fully functional tank and fuel delivery system. If tank is too small, replace in kind with tank with adequate capacity.

4. Will the exterior equipment be 4x or NEMA 3R rated?
NEMA 3R.
5. Will you incorporate one line field drawing attached on your E2.0 to meet NEC and KAFB requirements?

6. With the given tank size in the RFP is there a requirement to calculate 72 hr. run time?
Yes, to calculating 72 hour run time. See answer to question #3.
7. Will the generator require a pad for the new enclosure?
No.
