Users are required to initial each provision and sign the agreement, indicating their understanding of and compliance with the security and usage requirements specified.
The agreement establishes mandatory security practices for all guest wireless users, including responsibility for preventing unauthorized access, immediately reporting suspected breaches to the OIT Service Desk at (303)239-4357, and safeguarding logon credentials and passwords. Users must take reasonable precautions to protect confidential and personally identifiable information displayed on screens, encrypt portable computing devices containing departmental data with password protection, and immediately report any loss, theft, destruction, or unauthorized access of departmental data. The agreement further authorizes CDPS to monitor and record all user activity within state facilities and on state networks for audit or security purposes, conduct audits of all computers, documents, data, and resources at any time, and revoke user access at its discretion without cause. The agreement reserves the right to report any incidents to law enforcement.
