About this file

This is a Prime/Subcontractor Form (Exhibit B) for the El Portal Vehicular Beach Access Ramp project in Florida, issued under Contract No. C-2075 and ITB No. 26-B-59IF. The project involves reconstructing a beach access vehicular ramp destroyed during Hurricane Nicole in 2022, including composite sheet pile seawall panels, concrete cap, reinforced concrete vehicular ramp, curbing, pedestrian sidewalk, and site restoration. Bidders must list all proposed subcontractors and identify the dollar value and percentage of work each contractor will perform. The prime contractor is responsible for ensuring all subcontractors hold appropriate licenses, and any subcontractor changes during project completion require prior approval from the County Project Manager. The anticipated subcontractor disciplines identified include demolition and hauling, site security fencing, excavation and grading, coffer dam and dewatering, sheet pile installation, concrete, pavement paint and marking, signage, testing, and surveying, with additional disciplines added as needed.

Bidders must complete the form by entering dollar values in designated green cells for the prime contractor and each subcontractor, with all other cells automatically calculated. The total bid amount must equal 100 percent and should match the Total Bid Price on Exhibit G - Bid Price Sheet. The form will also be used to determine local preference in accordance with Section 2.8, D of the solicitation. Failure to complete and return this form may result in a non-responsive bid. The County reserves the right to seek clarification regarding subcontractors but will not allow changes to the total submitted base bid pricing.
