About this file

This is a Cost Summary Sheet for RFP 202690000xxx issued by The University for the Evansdale Crossing Third and Fourth Floor Renovations project located at the Evansdale Campus in Morgantown, West Virginia. The renovation project encompasses third and fourth floor improvements to support a new testing center, associated offices, meeting rooms, and support spaces. Proposers are required to complete the cost summary by providing a detailed breakdown of proposed costs organized by MasterFormat 2018 divisions, including General Requirements, Existing Conditions, Concrete, Masonry, Metals, Woods/Plastics/Composites, Thermal and Moisture Protection, Openings, Finishes, Specialties, Equipment, Furnishings, Special Construction, Conveying Systems, Fire Suppression, Plumbing, HVAC, Integrated Automation, Electrical, Communications, Electronic Safety and Security, Earthwork, Exterior Improvements, and Utilities. The cost summary sheet requires separate labor and materials entries for applicable divisions and includes an alternate for reusing existing ACT grid and ceiling tiles where feasible within renovation limits.

The cost summary sheet requires proposers to provide labor rates for various positions including supervisors, foremen, and laborers at different hour classifications (regular, non-regular, and holidays/Sundays), along with equipment rental rates and detailed unit pricing for specific construction line items such as selective demolition, partition construction, ceiling systems, flooring installation, electrical work, lighting, data infrastructure, fire safety systems, HVAC modifications, and plumbing rough-ins. An allowance section is included to address concealed conditions, firestopping, floor substrate repair, and electrical capacity modifications. Proposers must also indicate their subcontractor markup percentage. The University reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals and alternates in its sole discretion.
