About this file
This is an Extended Hours Rate Chart exhibit for a state contract opportunity involving on-call service and extended hours coverage for maintenance and repair services. The bidder must provide pricing for service calls occurring outside standard business hours (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM, excluding contractor-observed holidays). The chart requires bidders to complete pricing for standby rates, call-out rates, and quarterly hour increments across all three shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) for each day of the week, including weekends and holidays. Additionally, bidders must provide rates for additional onsite shift coverage on a per-technician, per-8-hour-shift basis across all shifts and days. The state retains sole discretion to utilize the extended hours pricing provided but will not evaluate these rates for award purposes.
The pricing structure establishes that standby and call-out charges reserve a technician on-call for one shift of eight hours, with hourly charges calculated on a portal-to-portal basis with a two-hour minimum. Callout charges without prior notification are billed at standard contractor standby rates. Quarter-hour increments apply after the initial two hours of service are used. The document specifies that all cells in the pricing table must be completed by bidders, though the state's use of extended hours coverage is optional and determined at its discretion following contract award.
