About this file
This Statement of Work (SOW) details a construction project for Fermilab's Integrated Engineering and Research Center (IERC) CCD lab, requesting a subcontractor to install two humidification units. The project aims to provide precise humidity control for sensitive component manufacturing, with the base scope including complete installation of humidification units, all required plumbing and electrical connections, and associated support systems.
The project is scheduled over 96 calendar days, with key milestones including: Notice to Proceed (Day 0), product submittals and shop drawings review (Day 21), construction completion (Day 66), punch-list item resolution (Day 86), and final project closeout (Day 96). The subcontractor is required to follow specified technical specifications, provide all necessary labor, materials, and documentation, and complete the work according to drawing set "2-6-8 IERC CCD Space Humidification Project" dated July 30, 2025. Introduction and Background
Fermilab is requesting a proposal for providing two humidification units to the CCD lab inside the Integrated Engineering and Research Center (IERC). The CCD lab manufactures sensitive components used in experiments on site. Tight humidification control inside the space is required to prevent damage to components during manufacture.
Scope
Provide all work as shown on drawing set “2-6-8 IERC CCD Space Humidification Project”, dated July 30, 2025, specification sections 010010 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS, 013100 ENVIRONMENT, SAFETY, AND HEALTH REQUIREMENTS, 013300 SUBMITTALS, and 014100 QUALITY REQUIREMENTS, and other attached Technical Specifications to provide a complete and usable space humidification system.
The Subcontractor shall furnish all required supervision, labor, materials, tools, plant and appurtenances necessary to perform diligently and fully all work as described in the drawings and technical specifications. All work includes transportation, overhead, bonding costs, safety oversight, quality control oversight, and supervision as required to construct the project described in the drawings and technical specifications.
The base scope work consists of installation of two humidification units, including all required plumbing and electrical connections and support.
Deliverables
The Subcontractor shall perform all work required to complete the construction work in accordance with the drawings and/or specifications. The following is a list of major deliverable events with a description of FFDG’s expectation of the minimum requirements for accepting each deliverable.
