About this file

This is a Statement of Work for the procurement of precast concrete shield blocks for the PIP-II Project at Fermilab. The Fermi Forward Discovery Group (FFDG) is requesting proposals for fifty-eight (58) precast concrete blocks comprising seven different types: Type A (14 units), Type C (3 units), Type D (7 units), Type E (4 units), Type H (11 units), Type K (10 units), and Type L (9 units). The subcontractor must manufacture all blocks in accordance with ISD 13-2-40 Drawings and Specification 03410 and deliver them to Fermilab.

The subcontractor is responsible for all supervision, labor, materials, tools, plant, transportation, overhead, bonding costs, safety oversight, and quality control necessary to complete the work. The project timeline includes four milestones: Milestone 0 (Purchase Order Issued—work may begin); Milestone 1 (14 calendar days—submittals due); Milestone 2 (70 calendar days—complete and delivery); and Milestone 3 (84 calendar days—project complete including acceptance of as-built drawings). Manufacturing will occur at the subcontractor's production facility with coordination on delivery location to be arranged with Fermilab prior to delivery. All personnel working at Fermilab must provide Real ID and obtain badging from the Fermilab Badging Office. Proposals must include detailed pricing breakdown by block type. No materials or equipment will be furnished by FFDG.
